Amanda Briggs Named 2022 Best of Story County

Amanda Briggs, YSS Chief Financial Officer, was named “Best Accountant” in the 2022 Best of Story County contest.

Briggs oversees the accounting, people development (human resources), information technology, and facilities departments at YSS.

Sponsored by the Ames Tribune, the contest invites the public to vote for their favorite in categories such as Beauty & Health, Services, Top Employers, and Sports & Fitness. After two voting rounds, the results were announced in November.

Additionally, YSS was voted a top three finalist for Best Nonprofit and Best Employer.
