Iowa State standouts Jaylin Noel, Tamin Lipsey Return as YSS Ambassadors

Ames, Iowa – YSS is pleased to announce Iowa State University student-athletes Jaylin Noel and Tamin Lipsey will return for a second year as YSS Ambassadors.

“We are excited to continue to work with Jaylin and Tamin,” said YSS President and CEO Andrew Allen. “They are all-stars on the field and off — elevating our mission and raising awareness for important topics such as mental health and substance use.”

Noel earned second team All-Big 12 Conference accolades from the league’s coaches for the Cyclone football team. He finished with the 2023 season with 66 receptions for 820 yards and seven receiving touchdowns.

Lipsey was named to the 2023-24 All-Big 12 Conference first teams after averaging 12.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game for an Iowa State men’s basketball team that won the league tournament and finished ranked No. 8 in the nation.

The YSS Ambassador program collaborates with the We Will Collective, which compensates ISU student-athletes with donated funds while encouraging the athletes to be community-minded. YSS creates opportunities for Ambassadors to get involved throughout the year, allowing them to use their influence to bring awareness to the organization’s mission and support local youth and families in need.

“Our mission is to enhance the character of Cyclone athletes and make a positive impact on our community,” said Brent Blum, executive director of the We Will Collective. “We look forward to doing good things with YSS for another year.”
