CWES Caseworker/Education Specialist

The CWES Caseworker/Education Specialist is responsible for all aspects of casework and coordination of education for assigned clients. The Caseworkers will be responsible for hiring, management, and direct supervision of the CWES Shift Leaders and Rosedale interns/volunteers. Caseworkers will maintain a caseload of no more than 15 active CWES clients (including diversion and placement services). Caseworkers are responsible for the case file management of all assigned clients in accordance with YSS policies/procedures, contract and licensure standards. This position assists with training staff on client file structure, the electronic file management system, and all forms/paperwork related to client files.


The Caseworker serves as the communication liaison to parents, referral workers, therapists, medical personnel, school personnel, and any other professionals involved with CWES clients. This position also may supervise and care for clients while maintaining an atmosphere of safety and respect. This position serves on the Rosedale CWES on-call rotation staff schedule and is assigned to provide on-call coverage and consultation as a part of the afterhours/weekends on-call system.

A Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field from an accredited four year college recognized by CHEA plus a minimum of two years of full-time experience in child welfare services is required. An Associate's degree with four years of full-time experience can also be accepted.
