As a Client Care Specialist, you will manage clients’ daily schedules, activities (including group management and facilitation), and help to meet clients’ daily needs.

What you will need:
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Must have at least one year of direct care experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and adequate insurance per YSS policy.
  • Must be at least 21 years old to meet insurance requirements to drive agency vehicles.
  • Flexibility to serve on the on-call rotation and cover shifts, as needed.
  • Recovering applicants must have a minimum of two years of continuous sobriety to be considered for this position.
  • Must be efficient at problem-solving, conflict mediation, and crisis management
  • Commitment to diversity and can work well with diverse clients
  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively with others.
What you will do:
  • Relate to clients in a caring, supportive, and therapeutic manner.
  • Ensure that the daily/weekly client schedules are complete including mealtimes, school, groups, wellness, etc.
  • Help plan and facilitate group activities.
  • Ensure clients are placed in appropriate bedrooms and oversee any necessary room changes along with any necessary room and/or client searches.
  • Ensure, along with Advocate, that client property is maintained at the YSS standard and that all other property is removed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of bedding and basic toiletries for clients who are in need.
  • Consistently observe limits and consequences and see that they are carried out.
  • Enforce rules and procedures as established in all YSS materials.
  • Participate in weekly client petitions along with the client’s therapist.
  • Ensure that client’s needs are being met through the proper request process and maintain communication with internal and external resources (partnership with clinical and other leadership staff).
  • Ensure with residential leadership the daily completion of overall daily client documentation.
  • Follow appropriate procedures for scheduling, fund management, and communication of key issues.
  • Communicate with client family members and workers as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of all YSS residential property as needed.
  • Partner with other leadership staff in fulfilling necessary duties for YSS.
  • Responsible for all special needs planning: birthdays, graduations, etc.
  • Work in partnership with the leadership team to fulfill various other duties when necessary.
  • Adhere to agency and accepted professional ethics.
  • Be a part of an on-call rotation for client support.
  • Maintain medication manager training, CPR/First Aid certification, and Mandt certification.

Compensation:

$29,952.00/year
