What is the Children’s Well-Being Collaborative?

The Children’s Well-Being Collaborative is funded by a $100,000 grant from the Iowa Department of Human Services. The purpose of this grant is to continue to enhance and expand on the prevention and early intervention services among children and family services in central Iowa. This collaborative will work to ensure services are evidence-based, trauma-informed and culturally competent to improve child and family well-being outcomes.

The Collaborative is identifying resources, supports and services needed by families, and will provide opportunities for training, establish new partnerships and grow existing relationships in their communities. The Collaborative is aligned with the Mental Health and Disability Services Region- Central Iowa Community Services (CICS) and serves Boone, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Jasper, Madison, Marshall, Poweshiek, Story and Warren counties.

Those interested in supporting central Iowa’s youth are encouraged to attend.
